✔ Flexible hours - We work with YOU to find the best schedule. There is no required weekly minimum to teach. We may tell you certain times will fill more quickly, but we are thankful for any time our instructors offer to our families. We have some instructors who teach a couple students, and others who teach MANY. It’s all about your goals and what works BEST FOR YOU!
✔ Year-round income - We are the only music instruction program in the region that offers lessons with no interruption during the summer. You will maintain your income with us EVERY MONTH OF THE YEAR with no drop off in the summer.
✔ Great supplement to other musical or part-time jobs - Many of our instructors combine their teaching with other part-time jobs to piece together a great living. Many of our teachers also play gigs, church music, teach with other studios, teach in public schools, private schools, and universities, record, perform, and compose. Some have non-musical part time jobs. Some are stay-at-home parents who enjoy teaching students to get out of the house and into the community. Some are retired from full-time jobs and stay engaged with gainful and rewarding employment by teaching with Noteworthy. It’s all about making it work for YOU AND YOUR LIFE.
✔ We do all the marketing for you - And we mean ALL! Our instructors are often surprised how quickly their studios grow once they start with us. More often than not we have instructors telling us “I’m sorry, I just don’t have room for more students!” It’s a good problem to have. We have worked HARD at refining our skills of marketing, sales, and student attraction so you don’t have to. This means you can FOCUS ON TEACHING and forming strong relationships with your students and families.
✔ We do all the collections for you - You will NEVER need to talk with your families about money, EVER! We take care of it all with effective and reliable centralized collections that make families happy and allow them to relax when they are at our studios, comfortable in the knowledge that they won’t have to have awkward conversations with staff or teachers. You are there to teach and only teach.
✔ Systems that keep things running smoothly - Our policies and procedures keep us running like a tight ship. Our families love it, and our teachers know they can just teach their best with all the scheduling taken care of.
✔ Great customer service - We have dedicated customer service to talk to our families, keep the energy high, make them feel heard, and solve their problems. You never have to do any of that. Scheduling is taken care of so you can just show up and teach.
✔ AMAZING students and families - We’re not always sure how we do it, but we consistently attract and retain AWESOME families who love us, and whom we love right back! ✔ You teach the way that works best for you - We have many instructors, and each of them are different. Their students are also different, and we know there is no one-size-fits all solution for any student or teacher. While we are always happy to offer feedback and suggestions, we NEVER tell you how to teach, what methods to use, how to structure the lesson, or anything like that. How you teach best is for you to discover, to your student’s benefit.

✔ Holidays off - We are closed for Thanksgiving, the 4th of July, Christmas, and New Year, so you get to spend this time with your friends and families!
✔ 2 recitals each year - We do ALL the work of organizing and running 2 amazing and affirming recitals each year for our students to showcase their skills and progress. You get to just come, watch, and support your students.
✔ We buy Solo and Ensemble lists - These are expensive for teachers, but we don’t mind absorbing that cost for you and your students!
✔ All levels of education and experience considered - Most of our instructors have music degrees, but not all. Most of them have extensive performing and teaching experience, but not all. If you feel like you have a gift to share with our students and families, we would love to hear from you!
